Mihály Bányai started to work at the CSNL in 2013 after completing his PhD at the CSCNS Group at Wigner RCP in the topic of large-scale cortical networks. His current research involves modelling top-down effects in visual perception using hierarchical probabilistic models of vision, and testing them on electrophyisiological recordings from behaving monkeys.
