Keith graduated with a BSc and MEng in Computation and Cognition from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). While at MIT, he pursued a variety of research projects spanning from imaging neurons in the retrosplenial cortex to studying the dynamics of task-optimized recurrent neural networks. After MIT, he was briefly employed as a data scientist at a biotech startup in Boston.
In the fall of 2024, Keith moved to Budapest and joined the Computational Systems Neuroscience Lab for a 9-month internship by way of a Fulbright fellowship administered by the U.S. Department of State. His current project involves analyzing two-photon calcium data from mice performing an orientation discrimination task. After his internship, Keith will move back to the US to pursue a PhD in Neuroscience from Princeton University.
In his free time, you can find Keith reading math textbooks, lifting weights in the KFKI gym, and exploring Hungary’s many thermal baths.
